Tommy Doggett

Tommy Doggett joins KFMG's weekly Sunday morning Jazz lineup as the host of TAKE THE JAZZ TRAIN from 6:00 - 8:00 a.m.  

Tommy is a musician and educator from Des Moines, IA.

Never restricted by a particular genre, Tommy Doggett’s diverse musical palette stems from his collaboration with Rock musicians, performing in art installations, composing for stage and film, debuting orchestral and chamber music and, of course, his love of Pop, Soul, and Jazz. In 2015, he was inducted into the Iowa Rock 'N Roll Association's Hall of Fame with the band Freestyle. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Tommy is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University (B.M.) and Kent State University (M.M.). In 2017, Tommy joined the Instrumental Music program at Urbandale Community School District.
