ONE WORD AFTER ANOTHER with Jim Autry is one of our most popular features. Yeah, it's poetry, but this isn't about Bambi in the meadow by a babbling brook ... it's totally up in your grill. Confrontational, emotional, powerful, and boy, does it ever make you think. This is GREAT stuff.
Take five and get a dose of Spoken Word every day at 3 a.m., 8 a.m., 3 p.m., and 9 p.m. CT (8 p.m. on Thursday nights) on KFMG 98.9 FM and kfmg.org.

If you're interested, I do Minutes With Maggie, 7:50am, 2nd Mondays each month, the windup to LocalTalk 7-8am; I'm on with Dennis Hart & Paul Wierson, great voices at the mic, feel honored to work with them. Mike Murphy, our great station mgr. My beginnings were under tutelage of the multi-talented Ursula Ruedenberg. Fun! for this retired govt document writer, now happily retired wife, grma, poet & woodcarver.

Thank you so much for your incredible work!
Sunday's poem was especially touching--The Invitation. I caught the last name of the poet (Flowers) but didn't catch the first name.
I had pulled into my driveway & had to sit, idling to listen until your segment was over!! When I finally made it to the computer to look up a copy...
I found another, rich poem titled The Invitation , but it was by Oriah Mountain Dreamer. (Feel free to share that one, too, if you'd like!)
Could you please let me know the full name of the author? I would love to share that poem.
Again, thank you so much. You enrich so many with your daily works! Usually, when I'm driving home from taking my son to school,
I enjoy your 8:00am offerings, but KFMG is always on in my car!
Love & Respect,
Julia
