Negus says, "I am proud to announce my new reggae radio show “Nuff Reggae Music” on 98.9 KFMG FM, dedicated to the powerful tradition of reggae as a voice for political and social commentary. Inspired by legendary artists such as Bob Marley, Burning Spear, and Peter Tosh, the show will highlight music centered on freedom, justice, resistance, and cultural awareness. Reggae has long served as a platform for activism and truth-telling, and this program aims to continue that legacy through music and meaningful dialogue. The show will also focus on cultural preservation and education by introducing listeners to classic reggae music, Jamaican musical history, and the influence of the Rastafari movement. Through historical insights and lyrical analysis, listeners will gain a deeper appreciation for reggae’s role in preserving African diasporic culture, spirituality, and social consciousness.
